INSPIRATION
As much as Vietnam has been an incredible journey and experience, this euphoric period of my life is coming to an end. Yes, some may say it was a great, big vacation. But in fact, it has allowed me to experience everything that I’ve been yearning to experience: Vietnam and being Vietnamese. My experience has been eye-opening, to say the least. Then, I think about how my “real life” has to start once I get back to the US. But who’s to say my attitude and mentality about life has to be left in Vietnam? I need to take this energy and love for life back to the states and learn to appreciate life in new ways.
I also feel that this world I’ve created in Vietnam lacks a lot of passion and inspiration. There’s of course, the passion to learn and the inspiration of the Vietnamese people… but there’s something missing in my core. And I hope I can find/have ALL of that once I come back.
I want my life to be meaningful.
I want everyday to be a journey of understanding myself, not just during EAP VIETNAM.
